My wife and I really enjoy this hidden gem! They have amazing food, byob, and even stuff to mix for margaritas. The atmosphere calm and we always have great service!

A nice casual sit down spot that serves authentic Mexican food. The El Pastor with pineapple taco is probably my favorite. My wife loves their assortment of homemade Mexican drinks!

Lucky to never had a bad meal here. Burritos are tasty and as big as your foot . The only Mexican place I recommend in DelValley.

I'm a true foodie fat kid. I enjoy everything from a $15 meal for 2 at Chick-fil-a to a $800 meal for 2 at Vetri. And this hole-in-the-wall Mexi spot is one of my favorite places. Super cheap, super delicious authentic Mexican food. Did I mention it's BYOB?? All the classics are large, delicious portions and most are less than $10 a meal- tacos, enchiladas, tortas, burritos, Azteca platters, quesadillas.

A week after we tried their food for the first time, my husband and I both came home from work saying, "Are you thinking what I'm thinking? La Veracruzana for dinner?" We definitely found a takeout staple. Love the salsas (a punchy verde and a chipotle) and the burritos are sizable and about half the price I would have expected. My husband loves the carnitas, though it's on the greasier side if that's not your thing. I've tried both the beef and chicken stewed in tomato sauce and really liked the beef. Give them a try!

AMAZING AUTHENTIC FOOD! Friendly family feeling staff very resonable price... 7.50 for a HUGE amazing burrito. BRING YOUR FAMILY ... Bring a date!! You will not regret it... Enchiladas are supposed to be amazing too!

This restaurant was probably one of our first Mexican restaurants we ate at. When we lived on 9th Street, we frequently dined here. The food has consistently been good. The guacamole, the entrees all are flavorful and the portions are generous. The burritos are highly recommended.

Good food good price and nice service

Met up with a friend for brunch. A true hidden gem away from the city hustle and bustle. This restaurant is super cute and gets packed very quickly. Typically, we grab seats at the bar. The staff is super attentive and checks on things often. Everything we ordered was delicious and we look forward to stopping in to try the dinner menu!

Very good food, very lovely staff. I ordered the quesadilla, not made the way I'm used to it being made but it still tasted amazing. The beef was well-seasoned.Not to mention his bring your own bottle which really makes your bill very affordable

Price is ok but service to slow i order on the phone at 5:40 one order of tacos (3) and i get them at 6:20 and the restaurant have jus me and 2 more ladys i dont know why take 40 min to make 3 tacos

Authentic Mexican food, I ordered tacos and they were made fresh. It was quiet that afternoon and I had a nice chat with the ladies that work there while I was waiting for my food.

We've been eating here for a decade. Prices haven't really changed.. nor the service and quality. Waitstaff speaks MUCH better English these days, though. Much more consistent than many Puebla taquerias. Preps never vary with kitchen turnover.

Friendly staff, amazing authentic food and places to sit + air conditioning

Fantastic establishment, great service, fresh food. I had their steak and Mexican sausage tacos and their tacos al pastor. Awesome flavors. You get complementary chips with two wonderful table salsas one tomatillo based (green) mild. The other is tomato and chili based (red) hot. The red salsa was hot but not overwhelming. Both salsa’s flavors where complex and well balanced. Definitely a place I will return to.

Great service. I can be one of those people who doesn't want specific ingredients in his food and when they're able to accommodate, they do.

This place has awesome tacos! Don't be afraid to branch out from what you know! I've been impressed with each new taco I try. The Chicken Tingas tacos are phenomenal.

Food is really good, you may have to explain about 100 times how you want your food so they don't scree it up. They will still screw it up though. But when they get it right the food tastes really good.

Awesome tacos! I got the carnitas, chorizo and Al pastor tacos. All were delicious and big enough to be worth the price. The horchata and agua fresca de mango were the perfect drinks to wash it all down with.

Finally, real Mexican food!! I had a torta which I enjoyed with the green sauce they served with the chips. My friend ordered the fried chicken tacos and thought it was a little dry. I’d recommend getting the cheese and chicken inside them!

Authentic Mexican food never a bad meal

Authentic delicious Mexican food in the Italian Market. Not fancy, just good. Waitstaff often doesn't speak much English but always get the job done. Interesting dishes that extend well beyond the typical Mexican menu. GO HERE!!!

The food is hit or miss. Depending on who is cooking the food is sometimes amazing but other times not very good. The prices are a bit high but that's typical of Mexican businesses in general. No parking and rarely any street parking so you have to pay a minimum of $5.00 to park in the lot next door. But it is a nice place, service is usually good... again depending on what waitresses are working. I give it 3 stars because it is authentic Mexican food and because of the inconsistencies with the food and service.
